Flashback Friday: Mediocre Mommy circa 1982.
I don’t know what that thing is or why my mother put me on its lap. I can only assume she hated me.

Flashback Friday: This is me, but it might as well be Gigi.
Same hair. Same nose. Same hands.
Same squirrely face.

This was her first Christmas. And one of the only photos of her in the first four months of life. Because she never stopped screaming. Ever.

Reblogged from mediocremommy :

Flashback Friday: Remember last December when this happened? I do. Very clearly.
I’ve been walking around our home in fear since he pulled that creepy bastard out of the attic.
mediocremommy:

My hubby is notorious for picking things up off the side of the road (I have multiple pieces of artwork and furniture in my home that were snagged on a drive-by). A few years back, on a corner in southeast Portland, he decided that we just couldn’t live without this Santa.
It is the most terrifying thing I’ve ever seen.
I am totally convinced I’m going to wake up in the middle of the night, with this creepster standing over me, duct tape and bad ideas in hand.
I’ve tried to get rid of it multiple times and the old man always catches me.
So naturally, being completely aware of my fears, this is what I saw when I pulled in our driveway last night after having wine with friends.
